Out and About: Saloon (Somerville, MA)

Last night, the only plan for dinner was reservations. I’m home in Boston for the weekend, and got here a night early so I could spend some quality time with two of my very best friends. We had dinner at Saloon in Davis Square, which was quite tasty.

Between short ribs, gnocchi, roasted vegetable bisque and the most delicious burrata I have ever had, I think the first thing to recreate is…the burrata. It was served with figs and pomegranate seeds, as well as rings of spicy peppers.  Totally unexpected. Coming soon to Chez Nous…but not before I spend the weekend indulging in lobster.
